Re: The GAP between reality and possibility...How to Close It.
Gordon -
You're welcome, but I viewed the day as a good discussion of a range of topics between two friends and colleagues - I learned as much as I advised, and I look forward to the videos. Just got back from NEO and nearly drowned in a rainstorm from Ohio to Maryland. The interesting thing is I had to pay total attention to the road, trucks, cars, spray, no visibility, etc. for about six hours. Kind of the Zen of Freeway Driving in a Rainstorm:-) It reminded me of my second favorite saying (after "Fly low and collect the dough") - "If you're going to sit, sit. If you're going to stand, stand. Above all, don't wobble." A lot of us "wobble" too much over our projects and goals, going from one to the other without completion. What if we just did "the one thing" (as said by Jack Palance in City Slickers) and did it well to completion, and then moved on the the next "one"? Think of the progress we'd make! Bob (trying to stop wobbling) Beckman |
