You've probably brainstormed loads of keywords that are related to what your selling.
Use these words in the search engines and see who turns up in the top 10 or 20. Research these sites and get rid of the ones that are totally of the mark (you know how it is with search engines!) Now you've got a list of targetted prospects for your program. Approach these sites with higher commission levels (especially in the top 5) and other offers (more return days, bonuses etc.). Above all including how the program will benefit them. Use the phone to make first contact and have the proposal prepared. Key thing is to make sure you know what you're going to say, stuttering and 'erms' aren't that impressive. Youll recruit more active affiliates (as they're at the top of the search engines) with loads of traffic or large e-mail lists Treat them well, they'll probably account for over 95% of your programs profit.
