I was about to respond that there are problems that come up when you're away for months that don't when you're away for a couple of weeks, but after thinking about it, I think that your advice makes sense for both situations. I don't have a personal assistant at present, and I think you're right that I should find such a person now and train them so as to be ready for the fall.
