![]() Acting for no pay in Shakespearean plays with other dedicated actors who love the craft more than the profession.
Writing detective novels for fun, not for a living. (If I'm pressured to write something, I hate writing it.) Reading, reading, and more reading. When I go to a bookstore, I'm in heaven. I want an income of $104,000 annually made by chatteling 15 hours a week, finding great deals, and making an average of $2,000 per week. I want to live in Jack's house (see below post for photograph), but here on Boston's North Shore instead of Washington. I want to be the most unpretentious person on Earth. Nothing fancy, no golden baubles for me, just FREEDOM. Just my Time. I'm in my mid-30's and I can feel the seconds peeling away and I just want to LIVE BEFORE I DIE. And yes, REALLY live! Loving relationships, good friends, and the FREEDOM to enjoy them. I've worked for several companies M-F 9-5 and when I got out at 5, I always felt like dying. It was all I could do to make it home and go to bed almost immediately to forget the misery and prepare for tomorrow's. Some people thrive in this environment. Not me. I was comatose. I, too, cannot fully say out loud "I want to make $104,000 per year with only 15 hours of work". It sounds ludicrous to me because I was brought up to think in terms of "work" and "What company", as in "What company do you want to work for?" I've screwed up. I've gone bankrupt. How low can I go? Now I want to build. I want all this to be the beginning of my story: "I was so low I was bankrupt and broke in my 30's...that was when I discovered the secret to the fortune I have today!" That's how I want it to read. Is it possible? I believe so, but there's always that nagging VOICE, isn't there, that tells you it's all a dream and it's all a fantasy. I'm trying to find the mentors who do this as well, Gordon. In fact, you're one. "The Chattel Report" got me started thinking in an entirely new direction and I've combined your ideas with John McTighe's report. In fact, John's Method #1 of finding chattel is already working for me, although I haven't been able to meet with the person who has it yet. I highly recommend it so far because it seems to be working. (John is at buyandsellprofits.com.) Okay, I've ranted enough. I read this forum religiously looking for the Answer and I finally decided to let it all hang out, prompted by the thread below. Anyone else? Come on, join in. This is great therapy...answer the question... How do you want to spend YOUR time? John |
