Well, there wasn't a red carpet, nor a stage or a host.

And I didn't SLAP anyone before accepting my award...and not claiming a world record or anything, BUT, for the 33rd consecutive year I have rec'd FATHER OF THE YEAR AWARD from my kids.

I hope this doesn't depress some of you other dads out there, but hey, when you're hot you're hot, eh?

Now, I did have some adventures this weekend, and I'll share some because of relevency.

Like my trips to TWO bookstores. Yikes. They may be two of last free standing bookstores in the area.

A beautiful Barnes and Noble and a new location for our BOOKS A MILLION bookstore.

Loved browsing magazines. I took a lot of notes, will share later.

Some opportunity arising.
