![]() I just met someone who asked me if I would like to buy a small plot of land with three 8'X16' billboards for $25,000 from him or at least sell the ad space for him.
It's a good location for a billboard on a highway with a fair amount of traffic. He just can't or won't sell advertising himself. Right now the space is empty, ready to be sold. I can't understand why when there are 4 other billboards within a stones throw that has new ads every month. He offered to give me one space for my own ad for free and said if I would sell the other two spaces he would split the money with me. He told me to sell the space for any amount I could get from $1.00 a day and up. I don't know what billboard space goes for in my area (Wilkes-Barre, PA) but to advertise on a bus stop bench is $2 a day. Does anyone have any idea of what a fair price would be?
