What's the best way(s) to market a one-page site?

Greetings, All. I feel like a Newbie asking this question! :-)

Anyway, what's the best way to market a site that is only devoted to selling one specific ebook? Here is a link to the kind of site I'm asking about (this is NOT my site): http://www.bestaffirmations.com/spec...ecialoffer.php

My site is similar in look and feel (fewer testimonials though). I have mainly used articles posted to Ezinearticles.com in the past. I thought it was the best SEO tactic.

Backlinks wouldn't work here, would they? Maybe in the form of blog posts?

Also, I'd like to use more paid mediums. I'm not thrilled about PPC, but I'm willing to try Banner Ads.
