Default Does anyone here have experience using Stripe for payments?

For a new project, I'm thinking about using Stripe for payment processing...

(In the past and present, I've used PayPal, and several years ago, I also used 2Checkout.)

Does anyone here have any experience using Stripe? How has the experience been?

Here's the Stripe website...

https://stripe.com

Thanks!

Dien

I've used it with Warrior Plus - I signed up, linked the Warrior Plus account to the Stripe account, payment arrives in my UK bank account a few days later (7 I think)

Thanks Trevor...

Sounds like you've had a good experience...!

The two things swaying me are that, it seems to me that...

1. Stripe has cheaper fees than PayPal, and
2. PayPal has a terrible reputation for customer service. Stripe is supposed to be better when it comes to customer service (so I've read)...

Best wishes,

Dien

Not had much experience of either (fortunately).

When I had a product that was Stripe only I had people asking if I could accept Paypal so you may get more sales if you offer both.

I use stripe. Its pretty awesome. But its not for people who can't code. It won't give you a payment link you can just send to someone - like PayPal does.

There are stripe plugins and scripts available however - depending on the website software you're using. (For eg: wordpress / woocommerce have a stripe plugin that makes it very easy.)
