Nice post. When we raised goats, we sold their milk. Lots of babies can only drink goat's milk. We also made cheese and ice cream. Whenever we were invited to a bbq or get together the standing order was to bring ice cream and cheese :D

My kids didn't have cow milk or cavities until they were teenagers. They even liked goat meat hamburgers better than regular hamburgers. A goat roast or rack of ribs is also hard to beat.

We couldn't keep a garden because they always figured how to get in. They'd eat all the vegetables in one fell swoop. Annoying as hell.

I can wax on for hours but suffice it to say, I love those animals.
