![]() Hi Griff,
For a welcome service I would start with the sales end. Am I going to sell advertisers blocks of 50 or 100 or more New homeowners? Then go to: https://www.melissadata.com/lists/ez...omeowners.aspx Put in the zip codes and you will get the monthly counts on new homeowners for each zip code. If a zip code contains only 10 or 12 new move in each month then I have to combine two or more zip codes. If a zip code contains 2,000 new move ins each month then I have to break that zip code down into streets or neighborhoods. Then I sell the businesses in that area so the new homeowners are always within easy reach of a business. Best of success, Skip Rosell |

Hi Billy B, Thanks for making that point. Melissa Data uses information from the county records. In other words the deed filings. These can be filed anytime after the home is sold. Most list brokers use this information and most of it is not usefull for a welcome service. I am not suggesting to use these brokers for your mailings or for your list of new home owners. There are much better ways to get NEWER leads. What I am suggesting is to use the look up fuction at Milissa data to get the monthly Average of new home owners that move in to any area. With that information you can set your prices per area and know how many new homeowners move into a zip code each month. Melissa Data give the monthly total for each zip code for the last year or two. Best of success, Skip Rosell |

![]() Hey Billy,

Actually MD has gotten better about their data. I just checked over in the Sarasota, FL area, about 60 miles west of me and that data is shown as of recently as 3 days ago. Now some areas of the country, especially rural areas, the data is out dated. I just checked the Wauchula, FL area where I'm out and the data isn't 1 month, 3 months or even 9 months old. Try like 5 years old. I just checked. Woody Quiñones The Promotional Guy |
