Great post!
Quote:
Sounds like a great book... I've added it to my list of books to read... One comedian of the past who I'd wish had written an autobiography is Jackie Gleason. (He's probably most famous for his 1950s TV show, "The Honeymooners"... which also was the template for the cartoon characters, "The Flintstones". Note that when I say "The Honeymooners," I mean the 1950s TV show, not the 2005 movie...) In "The Honeymooners," Ralph Kramden pursued several crazy "get-rich-quick" schemes... And Jackie Gleason sounds like he was quite entrepreneurial himself, in developing his own acts and shows in order to survive in the difficult world of comedy and night clubs...! By the way, your post has made me realize another book from the "entertainment industry" with many great business lessons in it... I'll post more about that soon...
