Default Re: What Democrats can learn from Donald Trump...

Actually, at least in my humble opinion, this election (US) has been a great lesson for all of us. It shows how politics is obsolete. On one side we get, to quote a TV show, a Turd sandwich and on the other we get a giant douche bag. You pick which is which.

Our (all of us in the free world) need to change the way we do business. If Michelangelo really said “Criticize by creating” none of the political parties, upstart race movements, old hat race movements, religions, et al have failed.

Why?

They occupy only one side of the criticize by creating paradigm. Public education is a great example. I won't go into the lengthy specifics but will list 2. Many school districts have eliminated homework and in class discipline. Where the hell is the creating in that mess?

Imagine if we dropped the political labels, democrats, republicans, torries, members of parliament, etc and just became citizens. Imagine if we dumped the federal bureaus of education, drugs, environment and justice. Do you think we could still function as a society?

Imagine if we eliminated real estate taxes but had a one time pay. I mean a person would pay a set percent to the guvmint when they bought the house, say 7%, and never pay another dime in RE taxes as long as they lived there. This isn't new. It is being done in about 6 or 7 countries as I write.

So I don't sound like the wife and female beater John Lennon I will quit with the imagine scenarios. But, I bet, you can imagine what to imagine.

Dien, have you ever been to Niue? Not part of this post's intent just wondering.
