Gordon- Can you provide any update on when you plan to send out the Toll position preliminary info to us "stamp sender people"? Thanks in advance.
Thanks hockeycoachdoug for asking,
I'm meeting tomorrow to review the program as it is through legal and out of graphics. Hopefully, we'll be mailing next week.
Now just a reminder. This was a test, and one that we needed to run to "stimulate" the systems. See, we need to get everything lined up...and it is quite a process...even for such a simple test.
There is some additional bonuses you initial responders will receive over the course of time...since you were our guinea pigs and helped us perfect the concepts and realities of the project.
Probably the weekend after Thanksgiving, I'll run the 3 stamp test again for a short period of time and post at other forums, blogs and send a mailing out. Then, we'll assess the test.
In the meantime, I have been working on the "facility" that will house this project, and some back office things. The worse thing that we can do is not have everything working, operational and ready to go...so a little extra time during this phase is called for.
I'm also creating a couple of direct response mailings to very targeted market segments which should get tested in early 08.
It took me a full month to go through just ONE of Harvey Brody's courses, which hasn't seen the light of day in 20 years, and it is just sensational stuff...the kind of stuff that helped the Jay Abrahams, Dan Kennedy's and Ben Suarez of the world...and that was just ONE course.
Mr. Brody taught at USC and UCLA way back then, and his seminars were attended by a Who's Who of marketers such as Joe Karbo, Bud Weckesser, Joe Sugarman, Gary Halbert and so many others.
And in trying to keep up with what is happening today, well, it is mind boggling...and so much of this information has never been put out by anyone.
So, the initial stamp people should be receiving their package in the next couple of weeks. THEN, we'll test again. Get more of the infrastructure in place...so that we are rock solid when we take it to the general public.
Thanks again for asking,
Gordon Jay Alexander
