![]() Dear Dien,
Thanks. I betcha meet some FREE SPIRITS playing ice-golf! "When Life Hands You LEMONS Make Lemonade" How about This? "When the Network You Join is Full of **LEMONS** Look for the Farmer Who PLANTED The LEMON Tree." Recently I joined a Vegetarian meet up group. I was very disappointed. a - The retired fellow running it b uys all his Vegetarian products In Shrink Wrapped Packages. Nothing fresh. b - The Restaurants where the group meet have signs on the buffet written in Indian. (Not american Indian. India Indian) c - The Vegetarian sitting on my left - is complaining that the feral cats in his neighborhood are getting worse. When he goes out to feed them now. He has to take TWICE as many bags of catfood. (The Genius is FEEDING them and making More Feral Cats!) I was all set to QUIT the group. Then got to thinking. How can the old retired guy AFFORD to b uy all his Organic food Shrink Wrapped? (I poked around and discovered his wife runs a Multi-million dollar catering biz.) I didn't want Anything to do with the Cat Guy. But his Family was very rich too. So. Even though the people in the Veggie MeetUp Group are LEMONY and Eccentric. In order to AFFORD this lifestyle - these people often have access to some BIG MUNNY. Thanks, Glenn P.S. - You can Check this out from your computer. Just google MeetUp and find 100's of meetings near you. You can also Check Out More "HOW-TO Munny From Home" Ideas Here... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=tab%3DSelling |

Hi Glenn, That's an interesting insight into vegetarians! I never thought of it, but you could be right... I think to eat healthily as a vegetarian, you may need to spend more money than you do to eat healthily as a meat-eater. I once had a boss who was vegetarian; he told me he had to eat a lot more vegetarian foods every day to get the same amount of nutrients he got as a meat eater. (Although I'm not a vegetarian, one of my brothers is.) I'm a strong believer that often something can be a "blessing in disguise". It may seem "bad" at the time, but when you look at the "bigger picture", it may actually be a "blessing". Here's an interesting article about how, in some ways, a recession can be a "blessing in disguise". They say that during recessions, people tend to smoke less, drink less, lose weight, and study more. In addition, the air tends to be cleaner, and the roads safer... Apparently, this study also shows that, statistically, for every 1% increase in the unemployment rate, there's a 0.5% drop in the death rate! http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/com...cle4916300.ece Quote:

![]() Many of you will find this offensive, perhaps -- I'm sorry, I'm just a big fan of Sarah Silverman... one of her lines is... "when life gives you aids -- make lemon aids." now, before a firestorm erupts here, let me just say, the line is MEANT (by her) to be offensive -- and make a point (make (FORCE) people to examine their feelings about the disease). Pointing out absurdity by BEING absurd. It's a kind of black humor (DARK humor, not black/RACIAL humor) one must acquire a taste for -- and I realize not everyone shares that taste -- so, my apologies in advance.

![]() Glen you dog! I always enjoy reading your posts
and this one, along with your ebay sales letter for the report, got me thinkin' regarding an ad project I'm working on. I'm a reader, too! And you're right. There are so many excellent ideas sitting in those dusty bookshelves. There's also a bunch of them sitting in my dusty braincells, just waiting to be repackaged for the appropriate market. So, based on a little inspiration from something you wrote, I'm "retooling" my ad program slightly, to make it more enticing to the advertisers. I owe ya one Glen! Lafuddy |
