![]() I had no idea this would ignite such a heated conversation. I am glad it did. I am willing to pay a "curiosity fee" to see how this works, but not the amount wanted. As always, I gladly pay from profits already made. what is the secret?

I'm a firm believer in "paying it forward", but not so much as to take money out of a guy's pocket. Sorry, you'll have to do like I did and purchase at the given price.

Charlie, Apparently there is a person on this thing called the Internet who doesn't believe in paying it forward. I did a google search on the term: Street BUM $200 an Hour Secret and found this site: http://www.blackhatteam.com/f108/req...ret-79635.html The author of the post apparently likes Glenn's work but is looking for information and/or the exact plot. In other words he or she wants to know what it is all about. I then typed in: How A Street BUM Bought A House for CASH & Makes 400.00 to 600.00 Seven Days a Week and found: http://xtrememind.com/2500Monthly.pdf http://video.forbes.com/fvn/byb/forg...barter-instead Neither of these 2 links refer to Glenn's book. However, the pdf tells you all about Bum Marketing Travis Sego style and how to make 2500 a month. The second link is a forbes link that speaks about bartering. A guy could use this idea if he is into helping local businesses increase their business. By the way none of the above links are affiliate links. Yes, I did use Glenn's title and subtitle off his sales page to do my search. It didn't make sense to use any other "keywords" so to speak. There you have it. All the information that could have revealed the hidden secret. Personally, I like the idea of sitting on your ass holding a sign that says: Will Work For Food and look each passerby in the eye and force them to donate. That's magic. But, again, I'm not equipped to do that. Hope this helps. Tom |

Yea, the Bum Marketing in that reference has absolutely nothing in common with Glenn's book; it's just a gimmicky name for article marketing. |

Gimmicky certainly covers the offering. Have to admit though, Travis did latch onto a cute saying that made him a small fortune ![]() Tom |

![]() Hi,
Wow. I check back and My "How to Write & Sell A Book in 24 Hours" THREAD has gotten Off "The Point" of the Exercise. THE POINT: Dien asked me to demonstrate how I write and Sell a book Literally overnight - or in 48 hrs. (The Testing takes longer.) My Write & Sell SECRET? The Simple Reason Why, You Should Not Buy? Only People Who VOTE and tell me Which book they want are "BUYING Prospects." (This is how I s ell books so fast - to Book idea Voters Only!) So. PLEASE DO NOT Purchase My BUM BOOK. YOU are Not Part of my Quick Sell Test. (I know this cuz only 2 or 3 SowPubbers Voted) You are not My Book Buying Prospects. You will HATE the book and want a Refund. (I don't want to go thru it.) ----------------------- THAT SAID... There is an EZ way for you to Know - IN ADVANCE - whether You will ENJOY the "Bum Book" munny making strategy or not. Pass my Test, Be My Guest, I Do Not Jest, IF U Qualify, You'll Make Munny, Fast as a Bunny, Both Gal or Guy, You'll Learn to Fly. Why Have dozens of my VIP Ezine Subscribers Bought the BUM BOOK? ZERO Refunds. A - They voted Their Opinion B - I Created the book they wanted C - All of them Are VIP's Who passed my Test at www.NLPBrainBuzz.com and emailed me their results. I hope this Clarifies matters somewhat. Thanks, Glenn Osborn P.S. - Why do I Personally Test Everything I sell? Because I offer a 365 day 100% munny back Guarantee on Everything at my archive AND Everything is based on Give to Get - Golden Rule Foundations. INCLUDING THE BUM BOOK. So with 61 - 1-of-a- products - I'd lose my shirt If everything didn't work... (IF You Take Action.) |

![]() who did NOT vote and was UNinterested have rec'd email from one of your affiliates.
Don't know or care how many affiliates you have, be they be VIP or not, but once something hits my email box it is outside of your testing, or is it? So what you say about this being offered ONLY for those who responded to your testing, isn't quite accurate. Is it? Gordon Quote:

![]() In the P.S. section of Glenn's post he, in part, wrote:
"Everything is based on Give to Get - Golden Rule Foundations." I guess I got lost because my understanding of how this particular brand of advertising works is: The, in this case, author of the book gives us a chance to vote on a title. When we do, he gets the opportunity to sell us the book. This gives him two gets. One, the opp to sell and two, the opp to make some quick cash all based on the give to get principle. All the voter really was "given" was an opportunity to spend money as it seems to shake out. I completely understand the principle and know how it works. This is the ole subliminal technique. Make it look like they are getting something in return for their, again in this case, vote. Where I got lost was the rebuke of those who didn't vote (I did vote btw cuz I liked the BUM title). I realize the rebuke can be part of the give and get because it may tinge the conscience of someone who thinks they should have voted. Out of what we would commonly call guilt they buy. Two objectives served. One, a sale and two an assuaged conscience. But, to thicken the plot, I too was offered an opportunity to buy the book through an affiliate. I can't remember seeing any notice of an affiliate program being available. Unless of course this is part of a jv program and not really an affiliate program and not open to the general voting public at large. The post didn't mention anything about this affiliate attachment. None of this is meant in anyway to impugn the book. It stands on its own. It is the marketing thereof I wish to better understand. If anyone can remove the mist around the marketing, I would be greatly appreciative. Other than that, I'm all for marketing anyway a person can honestly present their product. After all, we are marketers on this forum, right? Tom |

I think the "give" was Glenn explaining how he (1) develops which topic to write a product about (this is the part where he asks people to choose from different titles), and (2) how to write it quickly (i.e. using an "outlining" method, e.g. he writes the chapter titles first, which serves as an outline). It might have gotten "lost in the shuffle" over all these latest posts, but I think the lessons were there... I think they're good lessons, too (in my opinion)... Yes, he sells some, too. But he also gave away free instructional information we could all learn something from, with no obligation... Best wishes, Dien |

![]() Thanks Gordon,
You know more about this than me. I've not done any large affiliate JV's before - with one of my products. (I've endorsed others to my list.) So. I'm a newbie at this. I don't have a clue who got what. A - I wrote and tested the headline B - Wrote and tested a sales letter C - Several people made munny and wanted to mail their lists. So I p aid my webmaster to set up affiliate PHP links so I can tell who sent which buyers. Huh. Hadn't thought about sow pub and Affiliate links over-lap. Glenn P.S. - I tell everyone who e-mails or calls me - "Don't b uy if the cost of a pair of shoes or dinner and a movie busts your budget." |
